We’re so glad you’re here. Our mission is to enrich the lives of families in our community, and right now, we’re excited to be focused on Phase 1, which is all about Laying the Groundwork for a Thriving Community. This phase sets the stage for all the wonderful things we have planned, and we can’t wait to share our journey with you!
Currently, we are operating only in the city of Nagpur, Maharashtra, where we are building connections and growing our community step by step.
Current Focus Areas
Foundation: Setting the Stage
In this first phase, we’re committed to building a strong foundation for our community. This means creating a welcoming space where families can connect, engaging in meaningful activities, and ensuring we have the essential resources to support everyone.
Awareness: Spreading the Message
We’re actively spreading the word about the Watch Initiative and all the benefits of joining our family. Through community events, social media, and friendly outreach, we’re inviting families to become part of our journey and participate in the enriching experiences we offer.
Expanding Membership
Our goal is to reach 500 members during this phase, and we’re particularly excited about our approach to government-aided schools. Here’s why:
- Connecting with Lower-Income Families: Government-aided schools are often a lifeline for lower middle-income and lower-income families who may not have easy access to additional support. By reaching out to these families, we can offer valuable resources and opportunities that truly make a difference.
- Building Trusting Relationships: Schools are trusted places within communities. By connecting with them, we can build genuine relationships with families who might be looking for the right support but aren’t sure where to turn. Trust is key, and we want every family to feel comfortable with us.
- Using Existing Networks: Schools have established communication with parents and guardians. By partnering with them, we can share information about our programs and events more effectively, ensuring that everyone knows about the great resources we have to offer.
- Enhancing Educational Support: Many families may struggle to provide additional educational resources for their children. Our initiatives, like financial literacy workshops and engaging activities, can directly help enhance their educational experience and support their children’s growth.
Resource Acquisition
We’re busy acquiring essential resources, such as educational materials for our library and fun equipment for our Funday Sunday activities. Our goal is to ensure there’s something for everyone, no matter their age!
- Enhancing Events
We’re excited to plan new workshops and events based on what our members are looking for. Right now, we’re particularly focused on launching financial literacy workshops to empower families with essential money management skills and creating fun thematic events for kids to enjoy. - Boosting Community Engagement
In Phase 1, we’re all about fostering connections. We want to hear from you! We’re implementing feedback mechanisms and hosting community forums so members can share their ideas, experiences, and suggestions. Your voice matters to us!
